Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MOT Tester and service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle maintenance and repair, with a focus on ensuring that vehicles meet safety and environmental standards. As an MOT Tester, you will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections and tests on a variety of vehicles, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.

Duties

  • Perform MOT tests on cars, vans, and other vehicles in accordance with established regulations.
  • Inspect vehicles for safety, roadworthiness, and emissions compliance.
  • Identify and diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and equipment.
  • Complete detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate records of tests conducted.
  • Communicate findings to workshop control clearly and professionally, providing recommendations for repairs when necessary.
  • Ensure that all work areas are kept clean and organised, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Stay updated on changes to MOT regulations and industry best practices.

Skills
